Rio Ferdinand reveals he ‘hated’ Liverpool`s Steven Gerrard

England football’s golden generation in the 2000s flopping globally was a surprise to many, but on hearing Man United great Rio Ferdinand’s recent comments about his former teammate Steven Gerrard, we now know why that happened.
In an interview with British publication The Times, Ferdinand said: “Gerrard didn’t like me and I didn’t really like him. There was hate between us.”
The defender said it all emerged from playing for rival clubs. Gerrard plied his trade at Liverpool.  Ferdinand expanded upon this on his YouTube show, calling his generation of England stars “egotistical losers,” who couldn’t put their club rivalries aside for the good of the national team.
