England football captain wants to play for RCB?

Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, England national football team captain Harry Kane has shared images of himself that have sparked attention on social media platforms.
He also captioned the post as, “Always ready if needed, @englandcricket & @RCBTweets!”.

The English footballer`s tweet came after he heaped praise on Royal Challengers Bengaluru`s (RCB) stalwart Virat Kohli for his match-winning knock in the title clash of the concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
Kohli`s unbeaten knock helped RCB clinch the title for the second consecutive time after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
“What a player and what a knock @virat.Kohli. Congrats @royalchallengers.bengaluru on making it back-to-back IPL titles,” Kane wrote in an Instagram story.
On the other hand, Kane remains a key player in England`s squad for the football`s global showpiece. Additionally, coach Thomas Tuchel is expected to manage Kane`s workload during the group stage amid concerns over extreme weather conditions across venues in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
This season, the 32-year-old footballer had an outstanding run for Bayern Munich, in which he scored 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions. For England, he has also scored five goals since September 2025.
The marquee event will kick off from June 12, with the first game scheduled to be played between Mexico and South Africa at the Mexico City Stadium.
England will begin their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign against Croatia, with Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney also likely to feature prominently as Tuchel aims to keep his captain fresh for the crucial later stages of the tournament.
