Campion School clinch title by defeating Jamnabai Narsee School

Riding on a brace from Vishwadhit Arunkumar, Campion School (Colaba) defeated Jamnabai Narsee School (Juhu) 3–0 to clinch the boys U-8 Dream Sports Mumbai School Sports Association inter-school football Super Cup title at the Azad Maidan on Thursday. The victory capped a remarkable season for Campion. The team has secured five titles this season, winning the U-12, U-10 and U-8 Division I titles, along with the Super Cup crowns in the U-10 and U-8 categories.
Campion made a confident start and put the Jamnabai defence under pressure with quick attacking moves. Their positive approach paid off in the fifth minute when they were awarded a penalty. Sarosh Bhesania slotted the ball into the bottom left corner from the spot to break the deadlock. They struck again in the 11th minute as Vishwadhit doubled the advantage. After a well-worked attacking move, he finished neatly into the bottom right corner. Just a minute later, Vishwadhit scored his second goal. He showed great composure inside the box to finish confidently and give Campion a 3–0 lead at half-time.
With a three-goal cushion, Campion adopted a composed approach in the second half. They controlled the pace of the game, preventing Jamnabai from building any sustained attacks. Earlier, in the third-place playoff match, Greenlawns High School defeated St Peter’s School 2–0. Shoumik Mehta and Dhir Multani scored a goal each.
