‘We’ll play freely against reigning champs B’desh’: India coach Crispin Chettri

India coach Crispin Chettri said that there is no pressure on the team when they face reigning champions Bangladesh in their final group-stage game of the SAFF Women’s Championship at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Sunday.
“We don’t believe in putting our girls under pressure. They must be allowed to play freely. They must not be subjected to pressure at the SAFF level. This level is all about learning and improving their skills,” said Chettri.
Meanwhile, India goalkeeper Panthoi Chanu oozed confidence ahead of the clash. “Bangladesh is a good team, but we are focused on earning three points from the match,” said Chanu.
Bangladesh enter the game on the back of a 4-2 win against minnows Maldives, but coach Peter Butler believes there`s scope for improvement when they play the hosts. “We played bad football against Maldives. However, we will be a different side against India,” said Butler.
