Cristiano Ronaldo buys 25 percent stake in Spanish Club Almeria

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased a 25 per cent stake in Spanish second-division club Almeria, a consulting firm representing the Portuguese skipper said on Thursday. “It has been a long-time ambition of mine to contribute to football, beyond the pitch. UD Almeria is a Spanish club with strong foundations and clear potential for growth,” Ronaldo, 41, said in a statement.
