Erling Haaland surprised by people's reaction to his haircut

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland left fans stunned when he chopped off his iconic blonde locks in August. The 26-year-old has now revealed that while he expected his new look to go viral, he was surprised by how long his haircut remained a talking point on the internet.
“I thought let’s just surprise everyone [with the haircut]. I expected it to go viral, but I didn’t think the whole world would be talking about my haircut for four or five days,” Haaland told WSJ Magazine in a recent interview.
Despite his dramatic makeover, Haaland’s goal-scoring form has remained unaffected this season. He has netted eight goals in eight games across all competitions, helping City lead the EPL title race amid the club’s ongoing financial regulations case.
City have appealed against the verdict of an independent commission, which found the club guilty of 114 breaches of financial regulations. The club’s future remains uncertain, with reports suggesting that it could face expulsion from the league if the decision stands.
