FIFA World Cup 2026: Erling Haaland's hair-raising story!

Star Norway striker Erling Haaland is known for his goal scoring prowess, but he’s also famous for his long hair, which he ties into a bun while playing. And it’s something he is not going to cut. British TV host James Corden told Haaland, 25, that he should consider shortening his mane for the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
“Why don’t you buzz it for the World Cup? [David] Beckham used to do it all the time,” suggested Corden during a light-hearted interaction with Haaland for Fox Sports. “That’ll be hilarious,” quipped the Manchester City striker, sounding uninterested.
When Corden, 47, asked for the reason, Haaland, who has scored four goals in three games at the World Cup so far, revealed that he was advised by Swedish football great Zlatan Ibrahimovic not to cut his hair for a specific reason. “You know what Zlatan told me? ‘Never cut your hair because the strength is in the hair.’ So, what can I do? I have to listen to him.”
