Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife Georgina Rodriguez hits out at Jorge Jesus

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife Georgina Rodriguez has lashed out at Portugal manager Jorge Jesus after the star striker left the national team camp following a reported dispute with the coach.
Ronaldo, 41, was left on the bench throughout Portugal’s UEFA Nations League match against Norway last week despite reportedly being told by Jesus, 72, that he would be brought on later. After the match, Jesus said he did not feel Ronaldo was required during the game and, therefore, chose not to substitute him. A frustrated Ronaldo later announced that he had left the national team camp.
Rodriguez, 32, a model and influencer, subsequently took aim at Jesus in an Instagram post. “If Jorge Jesus knew in his heart that he had no intention of using him, then why did he call him up in the first place? To make a point? That is not authority, that is insecurity,” she wrote.
“I don’t know how this man can carry the name of Christ [Jesus],” Rodriguez added in a remark she deleted minutes later.
